Israeli forces are continuing their military operations in the Gaza Strip, marking the 628th day of conflict. According to Palestinian sources, at least 19 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes across the region since Wednesday morning.
Palestinian sources have reported that 19 individuals have lost their lives due to the ongoing hostilities in several areas of the Gaza Strip since early Wednesday. Among the casualties, three were reportedly killed following Israeli shelling of a gas station in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, situated in the eastern part of Gaza City. Additionally, sources noted that artillery fire targeted the cemetery area near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, located in the southern region of the Gaza Strip.
Reports from Palestinian sources indicate that five individuals, including a child, lost their lives due to an Israeli airstrike on a residence in the Mufti area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in the central Gaza Strip. Furthermore, it has been reported that an additional three individuals were killed and others sustained injuries following an Israeli airstrike that occurred early Wednesday on Mansoura Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Additionally, it is noted that five more individuals were killed and several others injured when an Israeli bombardment targeted the Salman family home on Al-Salam Street in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, early on Wednesday morning.
Reports indicate that aircraft from occupying forces conducted intense airstrikes on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and Jabalia al-Balad, located in the northern part of the territory. Additionally, sources confirmed that artillery from these forces targeted the vicinity of the cemetery area west of Khan Yunis and the Zeitoun neighborhood to the south of Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Civil Defense, three individuals have been confirmed deceased and five others have been rescued after Israeli airstrikes targeted the homes of the Nasr and Dada families in Jabalia al-Nazla, located in northern Gaza. Several individuals remain unaccounted for beneath the rubble.
In the context of persistent American backing and a lack of active response from Arab nations, Israel is engaging in what some describe as a genocidal conflict in the Gaza Strip. This conflict has reportedly resulted in over 187,000 individuals being killed or injured, with more than 11,000 people unaccounted for, and several fatalities due to famine. Additionally, over two million Palestinians are experiencing conditions tantamount to forced displacement amid extensive devastation.
