Suicide epidemic among US troops who are spreading democracy?! to all around the world

The US Army has struggled in recent years to combat a mounting suicide toll among its troops.

According to the Washington, D.C.-based Military Association of America (MOAA), the suicide rate among US veterans is a shocking 18 a day.

The figure was made public earlier this month when a group of US troops appeared before the US House Committee on Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Health.

The group said a decade of war has placed unprecedented stress on the nation’s warriors and their families that will challenge health systems serving the military system.

The US troops mostly suffer from mental health, behavioral and cognitive conditions in light of rising rates of suicides and other emotional issues playing out after 10 years of war among veterans, service members and their families.
