Iran-Azerbaijan Republic call for bilateral cooperation

Iran-Azerbaijan Republic call for bilateral cooperationIran’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan and his counterpart from Azerbaijan Republic Zakir Hasanov called for bilateral cooperation in Moscow on Friday.

According to IRNA, on the sidelines of the Third International Security Conference in Moscow, Dehqan said that what was seen in the confab was concerns and dissatisfaction of all countries with interference of powers in domestic affairs of other states.
He said that the US interference in domestic affairs of other countries is among important factors to create instability in regional and international levels.
To confront with this inappropriate approach, all countries should try so that the rules governing international relations are just and upon reciprocal respect.
The minister continued that Iran’s foreign policy is based on development of ties with neighboring states and deepening relations with Baku has a special importance and position.
He underlined necessity of accelerating implementation of Tehran’s recent agreements and pointed out that political intention of both countriesˈ presidents has an important role in developing ties.
General Hasanov, by referring to recent meeting between President Rouhani with President Aliyev in Shanghai, China, and their emphasis on necessity of development of cooperation in all fields, expressed hope that the Defense Ministries of the two countries can expand their cooperation, too.
