At least five children have been killed and several others injured in an attack by Takfiri terrorists on a school in Syria’s southern city of Dara’a.

Five children were killed and 15 wounded in terrorist shelling of a primary school in Sahary neighborhood of Dara’a, Syria’s official SANA news agency reported on Tuesday.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, based in London, said the shelling claimed the lives of at least six people, including five kids.

Separately, a mortar attack hit a government-controlled area in the northwestern city of Aleppo, which has been the scene of clashes between Syrian forces and militants over the past weeks.

Aleppo has been divided between government forces in the west and militants in the east since 2012.

The conflict in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has claimed the lives of more than 400,000 people, according to an estimate by UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

On Tuesday, a bomb blast claimed by the Takfiri Daesh terrorists reportedly killed ten people in a village near the northern city of Manbij.

Takfiri terrorists have suffered major setbacks over the past few months as the Syrian army has managed to wrest control over several important areas.
