Iran-Bangladesh trade exchange to hit $500m

Visiting Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari on Friday said that the target of Iran-Bangladesh annual trade value of $ 500 million is achievable.

According to IRNA, Ghazanfari made the remark in the Iran-Bangladesh joint economic commission session in Dhaka, expressing hope that holding such a session could play a pivotal role in expansion of economic and trade ties between the two countries.
The fifth Iran-Bangladesh joint economic commission session opened in Dhaka on Thursday.
Iran and Bangladesh signed an economic cooperation agreement in Dhaka on Friday morning.
The signing ceremony was held in presence of visiting Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari and Bangladeshi Finance Minister, Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, on the sidelines of Iran-Bangladesh joint economic commission session.
The fifth Iran-Bangladesh joint economic commission session wrapped up in Dhaka on Friday.
