The Syrian Army operations against al-Nusra Front’s gathering centers in different parts of the Southwestern Quneitra province have forced the rebels to retreat from their positions after leaving behind dozens of killed or wounded members, military sources said.

The sources said that Nusra fighters were pushed back in Oum Batena village in the Eastern parts of the province after suffering heavy losses as a result of the Syrian army’s offensives.

The sources further added that a long convoy of rebels’ vehicles was also destroyed in the army’s operations in Oum Batena.

Meantime, the hideouts of the Takfiri terrorists were targeted by the arm in Abu Shatta village in the Northern parts of the province.

The army also destroyed terrorists’ hideout in Mashara in Quneitra’s Eastern territories, near Dara’a, and killed all terrorists there.

Syria has been battling foreign-sponsored militants since March 2011. The violence fueled by Takfiri terrorist groups has so far left over 230,000 people dead.
