Hezbollah vows to defend Islamic sanctities

A top Hezbollah official stressed necessity of protecting holy sites in Syria and vowed to foil the “Great Intrigue”.
Sheikh Nabil Qavouq, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Movement, condemned the recent violation of Syria Takfiri groups against the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (AS), daughter of first Shia Imam, reiterating the efforts of Hezbollah to block the way of great intrigues, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Attending the ceremony to mark martyrdom of Hassan Ali Daboul, Hezbollah official noted,” Holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (AS) has been targeted from certain destinations and these weapons have been contributed to terrorist enemies to rage an intrigue.”

Lebanese cleric added the aim behind such desecrating moves to violate tombs and shrines of Islamic figures are clearly known.

He stressed,” Hezbollah, regarding its great enthusiasm for institutionalizing stability, will maintain its struggles to confront intrigues peace and national unity.”
