Israel prevented Official from entering Gaza

Belgium has decided to ask the EU to adopt a common position to the multiplicity of cases in which the Zionist authorities prevented European officials from entering the besieged Gaza Strip and stand on the human suffering, social conditions and health of the population.

Press reports quoted on Belgian Minister for Cooperation, Charles Michel during his speech in an interview for the Belgian radio, he decided to raise this matter formally to the European Union bodies, and he asked the Zionist entity to obligate to the International Conventions as an occupying force.

This move comes after Zionist occupation authorities prevented a Belgian official from entering the Gaza Strip last night, where he had planned to inspect the damage to installations which Belgium has funded in the besieged Gaza and destroyed by the Zionist army during the military aggression on Gaza a year ago.

The Belgian Minister for Cooperation, Charles Michel said at the end of a meeting with the Zionist Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon, “It is not natural to prevent me from entering Gaza, while my country is financing projects there, …”

Zionist Deputy Foreign Minister met with Belgian minister at his office in Jerusalem, the minister asked him to allow him to visit the Gaza Strip for humanitarian reasons, and to study the situation to give assistance from the Belgian government to Gaza population.

In the end of the meeting, Ayalon refused to approve the request of the Belgian minister. Ayalon mocked the Belgian Minister and said “You are a part of a respected group [mean Officials were prevented to enter Gaza before] … as the foreign ministers of France and Turkey, they did not receive permission to visit Gaza.”
