Imam Khomeini’s thought would safeguard Revolution

Iran’s defense minister has said Jihadi Management and Resistance Economy are rooted in Imam Khomeini’s conduct.

Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan who was addressing a meeting of the council of deputy-ministers of defense, paid homage to the memory of ‘architect of the Revolution’ Imam Khomeini (RA) and 25th anniversary of his death.

“Imam’s emphases on real independence, self-reliance and self-sufficiency in different fields and drawing upon domestic capabilities and cutting the chains of independence are the true manifestations of his conduct and thought,” said the General.

Dehqan described what he called ‘brilliant success especially in Sacred Defense such as lifting Abadan’s siege, taking back Khorramshahr from the Baathist enemy, and passing difficult historic bottlenecks’ as the Revolution’s ‘highly valued achievements,’ which would not be realized except for national will, Jihadi management and Resistance Economy.

“Calling by the Leader of the Islamic Republic of the year as ‘Economy and Culture with National Determination and Jihadi Management’ indicated that we need to cling to the conduct and thought of Imam Khomeini (RA) to guarantee the continuity in the Revolutionary ideals and the blood of the martyrs,” asserted the minister.

Dehqan also lavished praise on Imam Khomeini when he demanded that the different dimensions of Imam’s life should be inculcated in the young generation through ‘artistic rendering and careful planning.’

“ Imam Khomeini was a great reformer, a sage leader, not in words, but in action, he was the restorer of the true Prophet’s Islam and values emanating from Imam Hossein’s school,” Dehqan went on to say.
