Palestinians celebrate 17th birthday of imprisoned activist

Dozens of people gathered in the West Bank city of Hebron on Tuesday to celebrate the 17th birthday of imprisoned Palestinian activist Ahed al-Tamimi, which is on January 31. The celebration of Tamimi’s birthday was held in the neighborhood of Ghaith near the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

During the celebration, people brought out a cake featuring Tamimi’s face. Israeli troops were seen securing the area during the celebration.
