Great Satan US authorizes $7.4 billion arms deal with zionist regime, including procurement of bombs and Hellfire missiles

The United States Department of State has confirmed its authorization for the sale of weaponry exceeding $7.4 billion to Israel. This decision comes amid ongoing conflict in Gaza, where American-made arms have reportedly been utilized.

The State Department notified Congress on Friday of its authorization for the sale of munitions and related equipment valued at $6.75 billion, which includes bombs, guidance systems, and fuses. Additionally, the package comprises $660 million in Hellfire missiles, earmarked for delivery to the occupying regime.

In a recent statement, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) affirmed America’s unwavering commitment to ensuring Israel’s security, emphasizing that supporting Israel is crucial to the United States’ national interests.

President Donald Trump has advanced his agenda to strengthen Israel’s military capabilities by facilitating an arms sale. Early in his tenure, he removed restrictions on the supply of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel.

The State Department announced on Friday that it has submitted two distinct arms sales notifications to Congress. The first package, valued at $6.75 billion, includes a comprehensive assortment of munitions, guidance kits, and various related equipment.

The delivery schedule for this year will see the arrival of a significant arsenal, comprising 166 small-diameter bombs, 2,800 bombs weighing 500 pounds each, and a multitude of guidance kits, fuses, and various other bomb components and support gear.

The second arms deal involves the acquisition of 3,000 Hellfire missiles, along with associated equipment, estimated to be valued at $660 million.

The announcement follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit to the United States, where he held talks with President Donald Trump.

During the period from October 2023 to October 2024, under the administration of former President Joe Biden, the United States allocated $17.9 billion in military aid to Israel. This marked a significant increase, approximately six times the usual annual military assistance provided by Washington to the nation, in a year that saw Israel initiating military actions in Gaza.

In January, a number of former U.S. officials acknowledged that Israel’s actions in Gaza, which have drawn allegations of war crimes, were facilitated by military support from the United States.

Amid mounting global criticism of alleged atrocities committed by the regime in Gaza, the United States has maintained its provision of military aid to Israel. This continued support persists despite allegations that such assistance implicates the U.S. in the ongoing devastation within the enclave.

Over the course of the 15-month conflict between Israel and Gaza, the death toll in the embattled area exceeded 47,000, with 110,000 individuals suffering injuries, predominantly affecting women and children. The hostilities have resulted in the displacement of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents, leaving much of the region in devastation.

On January 15, the Israeli government, having not met its stated military objectives such as the dismantling of Hamas or the securing of captives’ release, consented to a ceasefire agreement with Palestinian resistance factions.
