Leader’s Advisor underlines Iran’s Independence

A top military aide to the Supreme Leader of the Islam Ummah on Tuesday said Iran’s independence and its power to decide its own fate are the root cause of the US animosity towards Iran.

“Iran is the sole country (in the region) which decides its own fate by itself and this cannot be tolerated by the US leaders. They (the US officials) do not tolerate to see that a country acts like this,” Supreme Leader’s Advisor for Military Affairs General Nasser Arasteh said, addressing commanders and personnel of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy.

Reminding the US direct control over 15 out of 22 Middle-Eastern states, Arasteh stated, “Meantime, Iran – by achieving its independence – is the sole country that is against the United States’ hegemonic and expansionist policies in the region.”

“The Islamic Revolution of Iran has shattered the awe of the global arrogance,” Arasteh underscored.

Pointing to the plots hatched by the enemies of the Islamic Republic, the Leader’s advisor added, “After they have utilized all their abilities and possibilities in different fronts (against Iran) and could gain no result, they put soft warfare and cultural invasion on their agenda.”
