Iran ready to help Vietnam in anti-drug campaign

Iran has said it is ready to help Vietnam and any country in anti-drug campaign.
Iran is ready to share its experiences with Vietnam in the campaign against illicit drugs, Iran’s ambassador to Vietnam, Hossein Alvandi Behine, said in a meeting with Vietnam’s public security minister, Lt. Gen. Tran Dai Quang, in Hanoi.

The Vietnamese minister expressed hope that relations between the two countries would increase.

Located in a key junction between Europe and Afghanistan, Iran dedicates large part of its police capabilities to fight drug trafficking from Afghanistan to Europe.

Iran has piled up valuable experiences in fighting drug trafficking, and has won praise from international institutions.
