Enemy targets symbols of Revolution

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Seyyed Imam Ali Khamenei says the enemies of Iran use propaganda to “belittle” the symbols of the Revolution and Islam, especially the holy city of Qom.

“Over the past 30 years, one of the propaganda strategies used by the opponents of the establishment has been to weaken and belittle the symbols of the Revolution and Islam, in particular the city of Qom,” Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who is visiting the Iranian religious center, said Wednesday.

“The enemy has always had special planning for Qom, as the center of Islamic grandeur and the place where the flag of the Revolution was raised,” the Leader added.

Imam Khamenei said the agenda of these schemes and plans is to “influence the perception and sentiments of the people of Qom,” adding that the only way to counter such efforts is by “serving the people of Qom and resolving their problems.”

The Leader advised Iranian officials to deem their duties as a “blessing,” and “treat them with warmth and open arms.”
