President Ahmadinejad highlights Iranian culture

IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that the Iranian nation throughout the history has played a key role in promotion of culture around the world.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a special ceremony marking the 17th anniversary of establishment of Persian language daily Iran.

Referring to continued challenges between justice and arrogant powers in the world, he said the Iranian nation has overcome the global arrogance and successfully managed to administer justice around the globe, he said.

The brave Iranian nation has faced many ups and downs and has no fear of its enemies, said the Iranian president.

Over the past century, media affiliated to colonial powers disseminated fabricated and distorted news to attain their sinister goals but independent and free media such as Iran newspaper thwarted their plots and are now introducing a different pattern to the globe, he said.

There is no doubt that the Iranian nation throughout history has played its historical role with success, said President Ahmadinejad.
