Islamic Republic of Iran sends 100 tons of aid to Mauritania

Islamic Republic of Iran has shipped a cargo of humanitarian assistance weighing about 100 tons to Mauritania, which is currently experiencing famine and drought.

The cargo contains tents, food items, and some other goods.

In Mauritania, the food crisis is affecting over 700,000 people, including 350,000 children under 18.
