Iran’s Military Reaches Self-Sufficiency in Key Aerospace Component Production, Announces Senior Commander
The commander of Iran's Army Ground Force announced that the nation has achieved self-sufficiency in the production of essential aerospace components. Additionally, there has been a sevenfold increase in the range of air-launched missiles, marking a significant advancement in their military capabilities.

Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari announced on Monday during a ceremony commemorating the local production of over 1,000 aerospace components.
Heidari emphasized that Iran has successfully navigated past the challenges involved in securing these components.
He lauded the Airborne Division of the Army Ground Forces, known as Havanirooz, describing it as “among the finest in Southwest Asia.”
Today, the operational capacity has been enhanced through the deployment of night vision systems.
Highlighting the extensive fleet of helicopters owned by the Airborne Division and their full combat readiness, the senior commander emphasized this as evidence of adherence to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s directive to “stand on our own feet,” as part of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s vision.
Heidari announced that all helicopters within the Airborne Division are fully prepared for combat and support operations.
The commander of the Army Ground Force’s Airborne Division has reported significant advancements in the manufacturing of vital and sensitive components since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The division has prioritized production across various sectors, including helicopter technology, successfully addressing and overcoming challenges and bottlenecks in these areas.
In a demonstration of the Airborne Division’s expertise, they managed to produce hundreds of thousands of essential components following the Islamic Revolution.
A unit, previously reliant on foreign advisors before the revolution, has embarked on a self-sufficiency mission under the directive of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, he stated.
Under the direction of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the commander stated, the force has prioritized advancements in several sectors, focusing on the production of all helicopters and aviation systems, as well as addressing obstacles in these areas.
General Heidari emphasized the vital role played by the Army Ground Force’s Airborne Division, highlighting its significant contributions to military operations and its substantial involvement in relief and rescue efforts during natural disasters.
