Iran’s military set to acquire 1,000 advanced strategic unmanned aerial vehicles

The Islamic Republic of Iran's Army has announced that it will soon receive a significant shipment of new strategic drones.

The Army has announced that it will soon expand its fleet with the addition of 1,000 strategic unmanned aerial vehicles, integrating these advanced assets in the coming days.

According to reports, the drones have been developed and produced collaboratively by the Army and the Iranian Defense Ministry.

In January of the previous year, the Iranian Army’s fleet was bolstered by the addition of a significant number of domestically developed unmanned aerial vehicles designed for a variety of military operations.

The Defense Ministry’s specialists have developed a new range of UAVs, comprising the versatile strategic models Ababil-4 and Ababil-5. These drones are designed for a breadth of applications including reconnaissance, patrol duties, electronic warfare, intelligence collection, and aerial combat operations.

The Army has acquired advanced Arash drones capable of conducting long-range precision strikes, tailored for suicide missions.
