Saudi citizens protest activists detention

Saudi citizens in the eastern city of Buraydah has rallied against the detention of political activists.
On Friday, young people rallied in protesting detention of activists by Saudi security forces.

The protests held under the banner of ‘how long to remain silence’ where the protesters called for release of political activists. They also warned about harassment of the prisoners by security forces.

Saudi prisoners especially in eastern regions have been populated with a number of political prisoners, who despite their release by the court, are still in prison.
