Iran warns against Patriot in Turkey

Patriot missile --621x414Al-Manar TV website quotes diplomatic sources as saying that recently an Iranian security official has warned against the installation of Patriot Missiles in Turkey.
Diplomatic sources have told Al-Manar that the Iranian official’s information of the Patriot missile sites in Turkey as well as details of the contacts and traffic to and from the sites by US and Israeli experts has raised dire concerns for NATO officials.

The Iranian security official has pointed to the precise positions of the Patriot missiles in the vicinity of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) radar bases in Turkey, used for NATO and Israeli fighters’ flight over the territory. He has warned top authorities of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait that the movement were not hidden to Iran and considered to be acts of hostility toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The diplomatic sources, who spoke in the condition of anonymity, quoted participants in the security official meetings with top authorities of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, and said that with precise details of the movements in US military bases in these countries, Iran had solemnly warned them on the consequences.
