In a significant development early Tuesday, June 17, the IRGC’s aerospace division announced an impactful operation targeting the military intelligence center Aman and the Mossad, known for planning operations against the Zionist regime, in Tel Aviv. Despite advanced defense systems, the facility is reportedly ablaze, according to the statement released.
Reports emerged on Tuesday featuring images circulating on social media that depicted the ‘Aman’ logistics center, an integral part of the Israeli military intelligence complex located in Glilot, near Tel Aviv, engulfed in flames.
Aman is recognized as one of the oldest intelligence agencies, having been established shortly after the creation of the state often referred to as the Zionist entity.
The primary objective is to collect and provide intelligence to the Israeli government and its intelligence agency, Mossad, for operations that include acts of sabotage and other covert activities globally, including within Iran.
Aman incorporates advanced espionage units designed for specialized military operations, including Unit 8200, which focuses on signals intelligence; Unit 504, specializing in human intelligence; and Unit 9900, responsible for geospatial intelligence.
Amid a comprehensive prohibition on the release of images depicting losses in the current military campaign, Operation True Promise III, conducted by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), numerous leaked videos have surfaced online. These videos reveal the Aman center engulfed in intense flames.
The assault took place in the early hours of Tuesday as part of the ninth phase of Operation True Promise III. This operation was initiated on Friday night following the Israeli regime’s targeted assassinations of high-ranking Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, including women and children.
Since Friday, Israeli forces have persisted in their offensive against Iran, launching a series of attacks predominantly targeting civilian areas.
On Monday, an assault targeted the building of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in northern Tehran amidst a live news broadcast, leading to the tragic death of two journalists.
Iran has urged the international community to denounce and hold the regime accountable for its ongoing acts of aggression, while pledging to protect the nation by all necessary means.
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, a senior advisor to the IRGC commander, stated on Monday that Iran’s latest generation of missiles showcases just a small portion of the nation’s sophisticated military prowess.
“We are prepared to deploy our advanced equipment as required,” he stated. “The idea that our missile stockpile is running low is absurd. Our strategic arsenal remains untapped.”
