Al-Nusra-connected cell in Algeria

Algeria has arrested Four-people-cell connected to a Jihadist group in Syria that aim to recruit Algerian young men to join Al-Nusra Front, a branch of Al-Qaeda in Syria.

Al-Shorouk Newspaper has published an article in which the newspaper reported some sources that the four young men come from Al-Ard-Al-Baida’a , a northern area in Al-Shalf province in Algeria.one of those four is a former leader in the organization of “al-Jaish al-Eslami for rescue” (The Isalmic Army for Rescue) before it was dissolved in 2000 and that’s after being suspected of making contacts to a cell connected to Jihadist group in Syria, Libya and Tunisia. This cell also works to send its recruited men to join al-Nusra in Syria.

The source have made clear that the arrested militants have been questioned about the above mentioned cell before two of them were set free, while the others will have to be enquired for more 8 days.
