‘Israel’ may face unforeseen consequences should it choose to launch an attack on Iran’: Jewish MP
A member of Iran's parliament representing the Jewish community has issued a cautionary note to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, advising against any "reckless actions." The lawmaker indicated that any imprudent moves by the Israeli military could result in unforeseen consequences for Netanyahu.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Homayoun Sameh Yah Najafabadi warned that any imprudent actions by the Israeli military would lead to unexpected responses from Iran, directly addressing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Sameh Yah has alluded to a potential understanding between U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concerning Israel’s response to Iran’s retaliatory action on October 1. He warned that even a minor offensive by Israel could trigger a significant and regrettable response from Iran, and advised U.S. officials to consider this warning seriously.
On Tuesday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in collaboration with the national armed forces, executed a large-scale missile strike, deploying 200 ballistic missiles aimed at Israeli intelligence and military installations in the vicinity of Tel Aviv.
Operation True Promise II was launched as a direct response to Israel’s continued military actions in Gaza and Lebanon, along with the targeted killings of senior resistance figures, such as Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, and General Abbas Nilforoushan, an IRGC military advisor to Lebanon, which occurred last month.

He noted that several missiles reportedly struck the Nevatim Airbase in the contested region, underscoring the significant vulnerability of the regime’s defense systems in the face of Iran’s missile capabilities.
Nevatim Airbase plays a crucial role in Israel’s defense infrastructure, serving as a strategic site where US-manufactured F-35 fighter jets are stationed.
