Bomb explosion targeting Shia funeral in Baghdad kills 15

At least 15 people have been killed and 41 others injured in a bomb attack that targeted a Shia funeral ceremony in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad.

Bomb attacks are not uncommon in Iraq, where suspected militants frequently target Iraqi governmental officials and institutions in an attempt to destabilize the government.

According to an official figure by the Iraqi ministry of interior, a total of 132 Iraqis were killed in May.
