Ahmedinejad to resume provincial visits on Oct 29

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to fly to Mashhad in the northeastern Iranian province of Khorassan-Razavi to start the third round of provincial tours after his re-election on June 12.

President Ahmadinejad will be accompanied by his cabinet members and stay in the province for three days to review the implementation processes of projects approved during both the first and second provincial visits.

Ahmadinejad is due to meet with the provincial people from different strata and deliver a speech at a gathering of the pilgrims to the Imam Reza (AS) Shrine in the provincial capital city of Mashhad as well.

The initiative of visiting Iranian provinces had started since President Ahmadinejad took office in 2005 to become closely familiar with people’s problems in different provincial cities of the country.
