Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urges participation in ‘magnificent’ Quds Day rallies
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, has expressed his expectations for the international Quds Day march on Friday, stating that it is anticipated to be among the most impressive and honorable demonstrations of its kind.

In a televised address on Thursday night, the Leader highlighted Quds Day as a powerful symbol of the unity and resilience of the Iranian nation.
“This serves as an indication of the unwavering determination and resilience of the Iranian nation in pursuing its significant political and foundational objectives, underscoring their continued commitment to the cause of supporting Palestine.”
Al-Quds Day, observed annually on the final Friday of Ramadan, serves as a global day of solidarity with Palestine and acts as a stance against the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.
Mass demonstrations have taken place as Israel persists in its military operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
The establishment of Quds Day in 1979 by the late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, came shortly after the Islamic Revolution as a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people. Over the years, it has evolved into a symbol of resistance.
Ayatollah Khamenei has hailed the Quds Day march as a significant achievement and a source of pride for the Iranian nation.
The Leader stated that for the last 46 years, the dedicated Iranian population has actively engaged in Quds Day demonstrations, regardless of varying weather conditions, with participation extending from major cities to smaller towns and villages.
Ayatollah Khamenei has emphasized that the significance of this year’s Quds Day march surpasses that of previous years.
The nations of the world largely support Iran, as those familiar with the Iranian nation stand in solidarity with it. However, certain politicians and governments opposed to Iran are actively disseminating propaganda that falsely suggests division and weakness within the country.
In an address to the Iranian populace, the Leader stated that the upcoming Quds Day march would effectively counter and disprove any deceptions and unfounded claims.
