Muslim Cleric: Wahhabism in pursuit of dividing Muslims

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani, senior Iranian jurisprudent, met with families of Mina incident victims in Qom Province, slamming Whhabism as a catastrophe for the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He referred to Qur’anic recommendations on necessity of Islamic unity and noted,” Qur’an includes several recommendations calling Shia and Sunni Muslims to maintain solidarity thought enemies of Islam, particularly Wahhabism, are in constant pursuit of dividing Muslims.”

The cleric warned against disunity as the greatest damage against Islam and referred to Mohammad bin Abdul Wahhab issuing statement rejecting pilgrimage of Ahlul Bayt (AS) allowing the massacre of Shia and also looting of their wealth, all of which turning to a plague and heavy toll paid by the Shia community.

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani called Al Saud as the scum of the royal family and added,” Royal system has been in vain since the beginning and Al Saud, at present, is surviving through the UK and Zionist regime of Israel.”

According to the Iranian scholar vowed topple of Saudi Arabi and said,” Saudi Arabia and Wahhabism do not have a specific origin and are run through petrodollars and massacring the people by their puppets, ISIL and the Zionist regime.”

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani said,” The two holy mosques in Mecca and Medina belong to all Muslims and not a minority who claim ownership of the holy sites but are incapable of managing annual Hajj pilgrimage.”
