The Syrian army and popular forces repulsed ISIL’s attacks against Panorama and the headquarters of Brigade 137 deployed in the region in the Southwestern parts of Deir Ezzur on Wednesday night.

Heavy clashes were reported between the Syrian army and the ISIL terrorists in Panorama during which several terrorists were killed and wounded.

After the clashes, the Syrian and Russian air force launched successive attacks on the ISIL gathering centers near the military centers of the army’s Brigade 137, Panorama region and the key oil-rich region of al-Thayyem and in the Southeastern province of Deir Ezzur, leaving tens of militants dead and destroying their equipment.

In relevant developments on Wednesday, the Syrian Army’s artillery units and fighter jets targeted the ISIL gatherings in the Western countryside of Deir Ezzur city, inflicting major damage on the group’s military hardware in large scale.

The ISIL concentration centers in al-Sina’ah came under the heavy bombardments of the Syrian aircraft and the shelling of artillery units, which not only claimed the lives of several militants but destroyed a number of their military vehicles.

The ISIL terrorists were pinned down behind their position under the heavy shelling of the Syrian Armed Forces.

Reports said on Monday that the Syrian army managed to push back ISIL’s repeated terrorist attacks on the city of Deir Ezzur in recent days.

The ISIL conducted over 50 terrorist attacks on Deir Ezzur city and the Syrian army repulsed them all, battlefield reports said.

The Takfiri terrorists also tried to attack the Syrian army’s military positions with 7 bomb-laden vehicles.

The army units managed to thwart all the ISIL attacks and lay siege on the Takfiri terrorists as the Syrian air force cut the terrorists’ supply lines.

Over 200 ISIL terrorists were killed and their military vehicles were destroyed, the report added.
