Palestinians in besieged Gaza mark International Quds Day

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are marking International Quds Day by holding various events. Resistance groups have held a press conference to draw attention to the Palestinian cause and slam the normalization of ties between some Arab countries and the Israeli regime.

Palestinian resistance factions have held a press conference on the eve of International Quds Day to mark the global event.

Each year, millions of people around the globe hold rallies on this day which falls on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan to express their solidarity with oppressed Palestinians.

However, this year, demonstrations have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and replaced by online events.

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has called on all Arabs to stop normalizing their ties with the Israeli regime.

Palestinians have been struggling for decades to regain their freedom and establish their independent state.

International Quds Day is an occasion to draw attention to the Palestinian cause.

This year’s International Quds Day is highly significant due to plots hatched by the US against Palestinians including the Deal of the Century. US President Donald Trump has also declared the occupied city of Jerusalem al-Quds as the undivided capital of the Israeli regime.

International Quds Day is considered as the most important event in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Thanks to Imam Khomeini the late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, International Quds Day continues to draw worldwide attention to the plight of the Palestinian people.
