Interaction between government and parliament highly effective

Iran’s President, Hassan Rohani, has noted that interaction between the government and parliament is highly effective and an alert and dynamic parliament can secure the health and success of the Executive Branch.

According to IRIB World Service, in an address to the Parliament’s session on Monday, which has been convened for the Majlis vote of confidence to the minister-designates of the 11th Cabinet, President Rohani hoped that the fate of the 11th Cabinet would be determined in the coming days and God-willing the new government would soon start its activities.
President Rohani pointed out that the experience of minister-designates in committees and factions show that talks, sympathy, and understanding is one the agenda. He added that many questions have been asked from the minister-designates; a large number of data has been exchanged; and many misunderstandings have been dispelled.
President Rohani underlined that the proposed Cabinet is the result of hours of talks and consultations with the elites and the entry of these minister-designates to the new government is due to their long-term managerial experiences.
