Rallies in Most Provinces Voice Rejection of Foreign Interference in Syrian Affairs

Syrians in most provinces on Friday reiterated adherence to the independence of decision-making in Syria, rejecting all forms in foreign, stressing commitment to national dialogue and reform, and denouncing the presence of U.S. Ambassador Robert Ford in Hama to incite its people.

Syrians Denounce Presence of US Ambassador in Hama

Hundreds of Syrians gathered in front of the U.S. Embassy in Damascus to protest Ford’s violation of the principles of diplomacy and his blatant interference in Syria’s internal affairs.
Protestors carried banners and repeated slogans denouncing the blatant U.S. interference in Syria’s affairs and demanding that the U.S. ambassador leave the country.

They also saluted the Syrian army, saying that the army is supported by all of Syria, underlining the importance of the Syrian people’s national unity in confronting the conspiracies targeting their country.

Thousands of people gathered at Bab Touma Square in Damascus to express rejection of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs and protest the presence of the U.S. Ambassador in Hama.
Participants voiced rejection of all forms of foreign interference in Syria, denouncing Ford’s actions and stressing that the Syrian people are aware of the lies of biased channels, with one protestor describing the material broadcast by these channels as “expired horror movies.”

Thousands also gathered at al-Hijaz Square in Damascus and carried Syrian flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, affirming their rejection of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs and their support for national dialogue.
Participants called for expelling the U.S. Ambassador due to his blatant interference in Syria’s internal affairs and his incitement for violence, saying that they are gathering to show that the Syrian people are stronger than vandalism, terrorism, instigation and foreign provocation.

In the theatre of Tishreen Garden in Damascus, hundreds gathered chanting national songs in support of national unity and rejection of incitement and foreign interference.

The cities of Jdaidat Artouz in Damascus Countryside and al-Salamyyah in Hama Province also witnessed popular marches in which participants expressed support for the reform program, rejection of any foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs and adherence to national unity.

In Deir Ezzor, thousands of people poured into al-Sabh Bahrat Square to protest foreign interference in Syria’s affairs and to express support to the comprehensive reform program led by President al-Assad.

The participants chanted slogans calling for confronting the media and political campaign of incitement targeting Syria, stressing the army’s role in preserving safety and stability, and expressing faith in the comprehensive reform process led by President Bashar al-Assad.

In al-Hasaka Province, hundreds gathered before the Radio and TV Center to condemn the U.S. interference in Syria’s internal affairs and to show the real image of the Syrian people who are united against the American-Zionist plot.

The participants said that “No honest citizen accepts the foreign interference that happened today”.

Social and popular bodies in al-Qamishli Countryside held a gathering in which they condemned the foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.

Elder of of Tai clan, Sheikh Mohammad al-Fares, condemned the meeting of the U.S. ambassador with saboteurs in Hama Province, considering the act as interference in internal affairs and encouragement for killing and vandalism.

Al-Hasaka city also witnessed a rally that included hundreds of cars, with the participants carrying Syrian flags and chanting slogans supporting the reform program, national dialogue and condemning external interference.

In the coastal province of Tartous, tens of thousands of people gathered in the Dreikish city and its districts, hoisting a 1000-meter flag and chanting the Syrian national anthem. The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the souls of the martyrs.
Participant Nabil Salim said the rally is a spontaneous and simple expression of the people’s love for President Bashar al-Assad and their appreciation of the army’s role in restoring security and safety.

“The rally constitutes a normal reaction against the acts of sabotage and against all those who hatch conspiracies against Syria and want to undermine its dignity and that of the Syrians,” said Sawsan Shaker, adding the flag will be always hoisted thanks to the solid national unity among the Syrian people and their high feeling of patriotism.
SYP 7millions were deposited in the branches of the Real Estate, Agricultural, Commercial and Savings Bank in Hasaka on the first day of a campaign initiated by various popular activities, peasants and immigrants in support of the Syrian Pound and national economy.

A similar initiative was launched in Sweida province in southern Syria by different popular and unions’ activities and civil societies in the city of Salkhad.

The national campaign to support the martyrs’ families, which started on June 11th, continues in Aleppo, including paying visits and offering financial aid to the families by various civil, youth and economic activities.

Thousands Raise 100-Meter Flag in Harfa Village

More than 5 thousand citizens in Harfa village, Damascus countryside, took part in the activity of raising a 100-meter long, 6 meter-wide Syrian flag and depositing money to support the Syrian pound, in an expression of support to the comprehensive reform program and rejection of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

The participants raised the Syrian flag and chanted the national anthem, observing a minute of silence in honor of the military and civilian martyrs.

Jawdat Atmat, one of the participants, said ”We are taking part in this activity to send a message that we reject vandalism and support security and stability.”

Sheikh Hussein Al-Saleh underlined the importance of the national role of the Syrian Arab army who had restored security and stability, adding that the Syrians have gathered to stress that Syria is able to foil conspiracies.

In Sweida, more than 400 children and youths lit an 8-meter-high torch in a token of love and loyalty to the homeland. The activity took place in the ancient Tal Junjula site, which is located 1400 meters above sea level.

The activity also included lighting 14 small torches representing the Syrian provinces, as well as art and sport sections.

Mass Rally in Jarablus Supporting Reforms

People of Jarablus city in Aleppo participated in a mass rally in support of the comprehensive reform program led by President Bashar al-Assad, voicing rejection of foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.

The rally reflected the participants’ interest in preserving the unity of their country in the face of conspiracies targeting its national unity.

The participants told the Syrian TV that all the Syrian people support the reform process led by President al-Assad, voicing confidence that the Syrian people will remain united under all circumstances.
