Judiciary Chief Condemns West-Sponsored Human Rights Resolutions against Iran

Judiciary Chief Sadeq Amoli Larijani blasted the West-sponsored resolutions against the human rights situation in Iran for lacking an in-depth study and scrutiny of the Islamic laws and situation ruling the country.

“One of the root causes of the claims raised against the human rights issue (against Iran) lies in the basic differences existing between the West and the Islamic world in this arena” as Iran follows Islamic guidelines in its laws, Amoli Larijani said, addressing a number of Judiciary officials in Tehran on Wednesday.
Another reason why such human rights resolutions are issued against Iran pertains to their reliance on the “biased and false” claims of the anti-revolutionary elements, the Judiciary chief said, and added, “For instance, the allegations made about the detention of the people in Iran without a fair trial is a big lie.”

According to FNA, Amoli Larijani underlined Iran’s high respect for human rights, and said, “Islam as a religion is the manifestation and also the supporter of many humanitarian rights, and definitely, we accept born human rights which are approved by Islam.”
