The leader of Yemen’s revolutionary Ansarullah movement, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, congratulated Yemenis and Muslims on the holy month of Ramadan, calling for confronting the US-Saudi aggression on the Arab impoverished country.
During a speech delivered on the first eve of Ramadan holy month, Sayyed Houthi called on Yemenis to support each others and especially the poor and the needy people.
Sayyed Houthi meanwhile, called for a meeting for Yemeni national factions on the tenth of Ramadan, saying that the meeting is aimed at uniting stance in the face of the aggression.
“I call on our honored people to go ahead with fighting the aggression forces,” Ansarullah leader said.
He stressed that US President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia serves the interests of Washington and Tel Aviv.
“Hypocrisy powers’ only goal is to destruct our region, in accordance with the US-Israeli agenda,” Sayyed Houthi added.
On the other hand, he urged the country’s mercenaries to review their stance from the aggression powers, calling on them to consider a prisoner swap operation.
Yemen has been since March 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
The coalition has been also imposing a blockade on the impoverished country’s ports and airports as a part of his aggression which is aimed at restoring power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
