German national team’s famous footballer joining terrorists killed in Syria

German U-17 national team footbal player, running the ball with Sami Khedira, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Dennis Aogo in 2003, Burak Karan killed in Syria. He joined the Salafist groups and went to war in Syria. 26-year-old Karan was allegedly killed in Syria Air Force bombardment.

According to the famous German Newspaper Bild Karan was killed in a bombardment by Syrian Army.The reason why he chose Syria for Jihad but not in other Anti-Islam countries such as Israel is still unclear.
