IRI Air Force launches wargames at northwest

IRI Air Force launched its 3rd Great War Games Wednesday northwest of the country.

A spokesman of the wargames, Pilot Lieutenant Ja’far Hellatabadi told IRNA that the the Air Force performs the war games under the command of the 2nd Fighter Base of Tabriz.

He said the force reviews its capabilities in air-to-land targets by fighter planes, air-to-air missiles against moving objects, and air-to-land missiles by fighter jets.

The ten-day war game will be carried out in four stages.
