Seyyed Ali Fazlollah urged all Muslim countries to do their best for solving the crisis of famine-hit Somalia.
Prominent Lebanese cleric has urged all Muslim countries to do their best for solving the crisis of famine-hit Somalia.

Seyyed Ali Fazlollah underlined that only the interests of Arab and Islamic countries saved in western banks is enough to solve this problem, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He deprecated the faint role of Arab community and Islamic Cooperation Organization slow movement in assisting Somali people.

“Somalia has been forgotten since 1990s and after the U.S forces withdrawal from this country,” said Seyyed Ali Fazlollah stating that since that time the country got insecure.

“What threatens these people now is draught and mass killing in this country while the Arab and Islamic countries just watch this crisis,” Fazlollah added.

“The Organization of Islamic Conference changed its name to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation but this organization did not change its slow movement for solving Muslims’ problems,” Fazlollah added.

“This organization just issues announcements and does not do its duties well,” said the Islamic Scholar.

Seyyed Ali Fazlollah urged all Muslims and Islamic governments to do their best for solving Somalia’s crisis.
