Sheikh Qassem: Sayyed Nasrallah Informed of Operation Aqsa Storm 30 Minutes Prior to Launch
Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was informed about Operation al-Aqsa Storm (Flood) half an hour after it commenced.

In an interview with Al Mayadeen TV in Lebanon, the leader of Hezbollah disclosed that knowledge of the Al-Aqsa Storm emerged on October 7, coinciding with global awareness. He noted that their counterparts in the Hamas leadership executed this significant, impactful, and revolutionary maneuver, which reverberated throughout the region. The news of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm was relayed to Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah thirty minutes after its commencement.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah proposed a strategy to target the Shebaa Farms, an area recognized as occupied Lebanese land, with bombings the following day. The Shura Council met to deliberate and resolved to initiate a limited engagement rather than a full-scale conflict, which demanded considerable preparations that were not yet feasible. This action was intended to ease the hardships faced by Gaza and to spur Israel towards finding a resolution. A message from Gaza, relayed through a contact in Lebanon and attributed directly to the martyr Muhammad al-Deif, was received, further influencing these decisions.
