Senior Iranian jurisprudent stressed necessity of solidarity among Muslim communities warning that dispersion of Shia and Sunni Muslims has been a constant pursuit of the enemies.

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, prominent Shia cleric met with a group of luminaries and heads of ethnic groups from Sistan and Baluchistan, Kerman and Hormozgan Provinces highlighting importance of Sunni-inhibited regions due to hostile efforts to disperse Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” Your regions are very important because enemies are in pursuit of hatching plots there though you can maintain glory of Islam by boosting your fraternal ties and this brotherhood is one of the blessings of Islamic Revolution.”

The cleric quoted verses from Qur’an on necessity of solidarity among Muslims and praised efforts of the late founder of Islamic Revolution to protect Islamic unity.

Top jurisprudent referred to popularity of the Supreme Leader among the Iranian nation and noted preparation and enthusiasm of the people to obey the least demand of Ayatollah Khamenei.

“Enemies are always in ambush.” Said the cleric and added,” The US and Zionist regime will never stop their hostile efforts though on the other hand Muslims are constantly boosting their unity.”

Prominent cleric concluded with stress on fraternal ties between Shia and Sunni and demanded the visiting Shia leaders to maintain their fraternal ties with the Sunni communities in their regions, to communicate and attend their mosques because dispersion of Muslim denominations is an objective of the enemies.

He warned that to disperse Muslims is the reason for launching extremist groups like ISIL and Boko Haram to harass Muslims within their religious community.
