IRGC test-fire 5 new missiles in Persian Gulf

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) fired 5 new types of Iran-made coast-to-sea and sea-to-sea missiles in the last stage of the ‘Great Prophet’5 war games underway in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, southern Iran.

Deputy Commander of the IRGC Navy, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi described simultaneous fire of the missiles and hitting to a single target at the same time as very important.

At the other stage of the massive war games, high-speed boats of the IRGC waged a war on Sunday morning against the warship of a hypothetical enemy.

IRGC naval commander and spokesman for the war games Alireza Tangsiri said perfect education of the IRGC forces has led to success of the war games at the current bad weather condition in the Persian Gulf.
