Supreme Leader Directs Operation ‘True Promise III’: General Rezaei
A former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that the operation against the Zionist regime was directly overseen by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
At a commemoration event held at Tehran’s Grand Imam Khomeini Mosque on Wednesday, honoring senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists who were assassinated by what was termed the criminal Zionist regime on June 13, Mohsen Rezaei announced that “For the first time, Operation True Promise III was directly commanded and guided by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.”
A former commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps revealed that a recent operation was executed in collaboration with the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters. He stated that the directives originated from the country’s Leader, serving as the Commander-in-Chief of all Iranian military forces, and were relayed to both the army and the IRGC.
Amid rising tensions, Rezaei stated that Iran is prepared to deliver a more severe and extensive response if faced with further aggression from the Zionist regime. He emphasized that Iran has successfully managed the situation thus far and has targeted key objectives.
