Syrian Army: A Key Player in Anti-Zionist Resistance

At a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday morning with the Syrian Chief of the General Staff Abdul Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim, Major General Mohammad Bagheri expressed hope that the reconstruction phase of Syria will begin soon, noting that security had been relatively restored in the country due to the Syrian army’s successful efforts to control insecurities.

Major General Bagheri held talks with the Chief of Staff of the Syrian Army focusing on various levels of training, experience-sharing, and revamping the army of the Arab country after the conflict.

He went on to explain that the Syrian army is an integral part of the anti-Zionist resistance, so it is essential that they collaborate to reinforce this axis and oppose the oppressive Zionist regime. It is clear that this process will persist.

Abdol Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim asserted that, with the partnership of Iran, they can expedite the termination of the control of imperialist nations.

The Syrian top military official stated that the two countries had been cooperating for an extended period of time, in accordance with the beneficial interests of both nations. He went on to say that the relationship between Syria and any country that is dedicated to establishing and sustaining good neighborliness will remain strong and will be further strengthened.
