Syyed Al Houthi issues a warning to’israel’, stating that occupied Tel Aviv may face attacks if hostilities in Gaza are renewed

The head of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a strong warning to the Israeli regime about the potential consequences of rekindling the conflict in Gaza. He emphasized that renewed hostilities would provoke counterattacks on Israeli-occupied regions, with Tel Aviv being a primary target.

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a strong warning to the Israeli regime, cautioning against the resumption of hostilities in Gaza. He emphasized that any renewed conflict would provoke retaliatory actions, specifically targeting Israeli-occupied areas, with a focus on Tel Aviv.

In a televised address delivered from Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, on Saturday evening, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi spoke to audiences on the inaugural night of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement underscoring their unwavering position, the spokesperson emphasized a profound religious, humanitarian, and ethical obligation to support the Palestinian cause and resistance factions, with particular endorsement of the Qassam Brigades, the military division of Hamas.

The leader of Ansarullah has stated that Yemen is vigilantly observing Israel’s efforts to evade its responsibilities under the Gaza ceasefire agreement and circumvent the conditions of the ensuing phase of the tentative truce, which pertains to the release of prisoners.

The Houthi leadership has issued a warning, stating that the core existence of the Zionist regime would be threatened, with Tel Aviv being the principal target, should Israel choose to recommence its military actions against Gaza.

He announced that Yemeni forces are prepared to engage on multiple military fronts in solidarity with Gaza, should the Tel Aviv regime persist in its aggressive military actions against the blockaded coastal region.

The statement followed a report by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority indicating that the Israeli military is gearing up to recommence operations in the Gaza Strip, should negotiations to prolong the ceasefire fail.

A senior Israeli security source stated that establishing peace in Gaza necessitates a formal agreement. Without such an accord, the alternatives remain either the release of prisoners or the prospect of conflict.

According to sources familiar with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position, the Israeli leader reportedly has no intention of advancing to the subsequent phase of the captives-prisoners exchange agreement. In a related development, Hamas has dismissed Israel’s suggestion to prolong the initial phase of the Gaza ceasefire. The organization is urging the global community to exert pressure on what it describes as the occupying regime, insisting that it fulfill its commitments and move forward to the second stage of the deal.

Supported by the United States and its Western allies, Israel initiated a military campaign against Gaza following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, conducted by Hamas and other Palestinian resistance movements. This operation was executed in retaliation to what they describe as decades of oppressive actions by the Israeli regime against Palestinians.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has led to significant casualties, with reports indicating that at least 48,388 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have lost their lives. Additionally, 111,803 individuals have sustained injuries since the hostilities intensified in early October 2023.

On January 19, a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement came into force in Gaza, bringing a halt to Israel’s intensive military campaign against the coastal enclave.
