Humanitarian aid reaches besieged Syrian cities

Several trucks carrying humanitarian aid arrived in the besieged cities of Madaya, Al-Zabadani, Al-Fou’aa, and Kafraya today after waiting a number of weeks for these NGOs to arrive.

The United Nations reportedly arrived first at the cities of Madaya and Al-Zabadani in rural Damascus; however, another convoy would reach Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya in rural Idlib a half hour later.

Today’s arrival of humanitarian aid to the besieged cities of Syria was the first time since the ceasefire that any deliveries were made.
