Iran develops sugar-free cough medicine

Jalal Rahimi-Moghadam, CEO of Danesh Bonyan (knowledge-based) Co. said, “this medicine is perfectly herbal and is composed of thyme, ginger, ivy and hollyhock which all help subside coughs.”

He noted that this medicine has no side effect and is completely chemical-free and said, “the essential oils within thyme can treat mouth inflammations as well as infections of the throat; therefore it is used often within cough medicines.”

He asserted that this medicine is sugar free and said, “the herbal cough medicine containing vitamin C is the only medicine which is both good for stopping coughs as well as suitable for the diabetics.”

According to Rahimi-Moghadam, this medicine has reached mass production for the very first time and will soon be distributed around the country.
