Lawmaker Lambasts S. Arabia for Supporting Quran Burning in US

A prominent Iranian MP lashed out at Saudi officials for their silence on the burning of the Holy Quran and accompanying satanic Americans in their sacrilege of Islamic values.

“The Saudi officials, who consider themselves as servants of God’s House (Kaaba) and the House of Islam’s Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), not only keep mum about the burning of Quran by the Americans, but also accompany them to some extent,” Vice-Chairman of the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Esmayeel Kossari told FNA on Monday.

He further strongly condemned a US pastor’s provocative act of Quran burning, and called on the Muslim states to show a proper and strong reaction to such insults.

“If all Muslim countries take a united and integrated position and display their protest against such insults, we will no more witness sacrilege of Quran and Quran burning by the enemies of God’s words,” Kossari said.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Sunday denounced the burning of copies of the Holy Quran by satanic US pastor Terry Jones in the state of Florida, and called the act “insulting and provocative”.

The statement also urged the United States to apologize to the Muslim World.

Koran burning and sacrilege of Islamic values has become a commonplace move by Americans in recent years, while the opposite has never happened and Muslims have never desecrated values of Judaism, Christianity and other divine religions.
