Zionist regime detains patients and medical professionals from a hospital in Gaza

The Israeli military has launched another operation targeting the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, reportedly detaining medical personnel and patients and transporting them to an undisclosed location.

On Wednesday, a raid unfolded which was documented by images capturing the distressing scene of staff members, injured patients, and elderly Palestinians being forcibly taken, blindfolded, and left unclothed in freezing conditions.

The families of the victims have not been informed about the whereabouts of their loved ones, leading to growing concern and uncertainty.

A resistance news outlet has likened the situation to being “carried out into a slaughterhouse,” criticizing the Israeli military for the secrecy surrounding ongoing abductions.

Since last October, Israeli forces have reportedly targeted the hospital multiple times amidst ongoing military operations in Gaza. The conflict, described by some as having genocidal impacts, has resulted in the deaths of at least 43,972 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.

Over the past 45 days, the regime has significantly escalated its aggressive actions in northern Gaza, intensifying attacks based on unsubstantiated claims that the facility is harboring resistance fighters and their equipment.

The recently freed prisoners, who were previously abducted from a hospital, have revealed harrowing accounts of their experiences in captivity. They report enduring severe torture during their detention in Israeli prisons.

“Whole Families Perish in Tragic Incident”

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that Israeli forces targeted the administrative office and personnel of Kamal Adwan Hospital in their latest operation, claiming there was no justification for the assault. According to ministry officials, the attack involved heavy gunfire directed at the hospital director’s office.

The assault reportedly extended to include acts of aggression targeting the families of medical personnel, according to the statement.

Two physicians affiliated with the hospital have suffered devastating personal losses, as their families fell victim to a brutal attack carried out by the occupying forces. This act of violence, which claimed the lives of their wives and children, has been widely condemned as a grievous atrocity against humanity.

The ministry has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s actions against the health sector, accusing it of systematically dismantling Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure. This includes the bombing of hospital facilities and the reported casualties and detainment of medical personnel.

The ministry has urged the international community to intervene in putting an end to the ongoing war and acts of genocide. Additionally, it emphasized the need for the protection of hospitals and the safety of medical personnel. The ministry also called for swift action to restore and reopen medical facilities, warning that such measures must be taken “before it is too late.”

“Tragic Loss As 1,000 Healthcare Professionals Succumb”

In a devastating development, it has been reported that approximately 1,000 doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers have lost their lives. This significant loss underscores the ongoing challenges faced by the medical community worldwide.

Reports indicate that medical facilities along the coastal region have been severely impacted by the regime’s aggressive actions, with dozens of hospitals and other medical centers being destroyed and forced out of operation.

According to the ministry, the occupation forces have intentionally targeted medical teams, resulting in the deaths of over 1,000 doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals in Gaza thus far.

Gaza is currently undergoing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, unparalleled globally. Authorities are calling on the international community to undertake urgent and decisive measures to address the dire humanitarian and health conditions in the region before the situation further deteriorates.
