Gambler Trump claims he has dispatched a letter to Imam Ayatollah Khamenei regarding a new agreement
United States President Donald Trump has expressed a desire to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran, dispatching a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, on Thursday. In the communication, President Trump indicated his hope that the two nations could come to the table for discussions.

In an interview aired on Friday by Fox Business Network, former President Donald Trump expressed his desire for a more favorable outcome for Iran through negotiations. “I hope you’re going to negotiate, because it’s going to be a lot better for Iran,” Trump stated.
According to a report by Reuters, the U.S. President expressed his belief that obtaining the letter is a priority. He suggested that alternative measures might be necessary, adding, “You can’t allow another nuclear weapon.”
The correspondence seemed to be directed to Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The White House has yet to issue a response following inquiries on the matter.
