Ansarullah Leader Urges Resistance Forces to Unite Against US and ‘israel’

The head of Yemen's Ansarullah movement has urged resistance factions throughout the West Asia region to maintain their stance against the hostile measures undertaken by Israel and the United States.

In a televised address on Sunday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi accused the United States and Israel of attempting to undermine religious beliefs and sacred icons. He alleged that their efforts included a push towards occupation, resource exploitation, and the enslavement of humanity.

The Yemeni leader emphasized that, despite the forthcoming challenges and sacrifices, the course of resistance promises to lead to freedom and dignity.

This decision stands as the most viable option amidst challenges of humiliation, disgrace, and surrender. It represents the aspirations for our nations, advocating a course of righteousness in response to perceived American and Israeli aggression. Today, there is a reaffirmation of unwavering determination and a commitment to persist in following the principles based on Quranic and devout teachings.

Citing examples from Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, he reiterated unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that confronting the Zionist initiative is a shared duty among Muslims. He vowed to persist without retreat in the face of pressure or conflict.

He emphasized the struggle as a moral duty for all Muslims.

A call to action was issued emphasizing the moral duty to address and oppose the perceived injustices and alleged corrupt practices attributed to American and Israeli forces. It stressed the importance of resisting any form of submission or compliance to these powers, warning of potential consequences in both worldly and spiritual realms.

The leader of Ansarullah has urged resistance groups throughout the region to resolutely oppose the aggressive actions undertaken by Israel and the United States against Muslims.

The adversary’s actions against this nation include committing genocide in Palestine, violating the sanctity of holy sites, and engaging in various forms of injustice and crime. Additionally, their activities extend to the Islamic world beyond Palestine.

In a significant gathering, thousands convened across Yemen to mark Ashura, commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, revered as the third Shia Imam.

He stated that the struggle against American and Israeli dominance is inspired by the principles of Imam Hussein’s revolution. He accused the U.S. and Israel of threatening the nation by erasing its religious identity, targeting holy sites, and seeking dominance, exclusion, and subjugation.

As the conflict in Gaza escalated, Yemen initiated a strategic blockade on crucial maritime routes, seeking to disrupt the movement of military supplies to Israel and urge the international community to address the humanitarian crisis in the region.

The Yemeni Armed Forces stated their determination to persist with their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and air operations in Gaza. Since the conflict’s onset on October 7, 2023, more than 57,400 Palestinians have perished.
