Syrian Soldiers Continue to Target Terrorists’ Gatherings in Dara’a

The Army soldiers targeted terrorists’ positions near al-Qariyeh al-Qarbi bridge in Northeastern Dara’a, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their positions.
Also, the army men targeted a group of terrorists that were monitoring and spying on the army movements in the town of al-Faqi in Northern Dara’a, leaving a number of them dead.
The army troops also hit the vehicles and positions of the terrorists heavily in Hareh al-Bajabjah and Tarq al-Sad (way to Dam) in Dara’a al-Balad district of Dara’a city.
The army men opened heavy heavy machinegun fire at the terrorists in the towns of Ulama, Ibtta and Dael in Dara’a countryside, killing and wounding a number of militants.
Sources privy to rebels disclosed earlier today that militant groups deployed in the Western countryside of Dara’a city have started a large-scale operation to beat ISIL terrorists back from their positions in the region.
The sources said that militants in Western Dara’a stormed ISIL’s positions in Hawz al-Yarmouk region to drive out their rivals from the region.
In the meantime, the Southern Front, including the rebel groups in Southern Syria, announced in a statement that Hawz al-Yarmouk is a military region, calling on civilians to stay away from ISIL’s centers and move to other rebel-held regions.
Media activist Wasam al-Amir said opposition groups’ mortar units have been shelling heavily Hawz al-Yarmouk region in recent days in an initial step for a major operation against ISIL.
Several women and children were killed or wounded in the militants’ mortar shelling.
