Iran labels US and Germany as principal defenders of zionist regime and its crimes
A spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry has accused the United States and Germany of being principal defenders and major suppliers of lethal weaponry to Israel, thus supporting what Iran terms as Israel's criminal activities.

In a statement posted on his X account on Thursday, Esmaeil Baghaei condemned both Washington and Berlin, marking the first anniversary of an airstrike by Israeli forces on the Mamdani Hospital, also referred to as Ahli Arab Hospital, located in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
On October 17, 2023, an Israeli airstrike targeted a hospital in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 500 Palestinians, many of whom were women and children seeking refuge. The hospital, a designated shelter from ongoing and intense Israeli air raids on the blockaded area, became the site of significant civilian casualties amidst the escalating conflict.
Baghaei asserted that the citizens of Palestine and others in the region will continue to remember the roles played by the United States and Germany as principal supporters of Israel, highlighting their status as leading suppliers of military weaponry to the nation.
He noted that cruelty knows no bounds when paired with ideological narcissism and a sense of impunity.
He stated that during Israel’s initial offensive, innocent civilians in Gaza were subjected to severe violence, marking the regime’s first acknowledged instance of war crimes in the region. This offensive, described as genocidal, has faced widespread condemnation from the international community.
An Iranian spokesman has accused the United States and several European nations of enabling Israel’s continued military actions in Gaza and its broader conflict with Palestinians throughout the occupied territories. The spokesman stated that these countries afford Israel “full impunity,” allowing it to persist in its operations.
Baghaei underscored that being complicit in an atrocity is as abhorrent as the atrocity itself.
According to the Public Health Ministry of Lebanon, Israel’s actions since October 8, 2023, have resulted in more than 2,300 fatalities and approximately 11,000 injuries in Lebanon.
During this timeframe, the regime has continued its campaign in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 42,438 Palestinians, the majority of whom are reported to be women and children.
